David Mooney has more years' experience as a plumber and gasfitter than he probably would like to admit to. He began his plumbing career in Hamilton as a young chap and then he and some of his fellow plumbers bought Morrinsville Plumbing and Gas. This company specialised in both industrial and domestic plumbing and David spent much of his time involved with gasfitting work.

Good sense prevailed and David then moved to Mahurangi West 12 years ago. He then developed his passion for solar hot water installation and the efficient use of our precious energy sources. As a fully accredited solar hot water installer, David can advise you on all the various options for hot water heating and how you can save money on your power bill.

From our base in the beautiful Mahurangi West area we service the Rodney district from Whangaparaoa through to Wellsford and all areas in between. As many of David's clients are based in Warkworth, Snells Beach and Omaha, David charges mileage from Warkworth for those people who live north of Mahurangi West. For those clients south of Mahurangi West and on the Whangaparoa peninsula, we charge mileage from Orewa.
